Leicester are in talks with Sampdoria for Inter target Eder, according to Sky Italia.
Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri has already admitted he would like to sign a new forward before the January transfer window closes to ease the goalscoring burden on Jamie Vardy.
The current Premier League leaders have reportedly tabled a three-year deal worth £29,000-a-week for Eder and must now stump up the £10m Sampdoria are demanding for his signature.
The 29-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Inter and has been in great form in front of goal this season. In fact, only Gonzalo Higuain (21) has scored more league goals than Eder (12) in Serie A this season.
