Juventus and Inter are trying to beat each other to the signature of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to Italian paper Corriere dello Sport.
Fabregas, 28, has looked out of sorts this season and has struggled to reach anywhere near the immense heights of last season where he helped guide Chelsea to the Premier League title.
The Spain international has been cast in and out of the starting XI this season and Juventus and Inter are reportedly ready to take advantage of the situation to land the creative midfielder.
At this corresponding stage last season Fabregas had already registered 13 assists and was averaging a WhoScored rating of nearly 8 (7.91). However, his form has dropped considerably and he has only laid on two assists this season with an average below 7 (6.86).
