Chelsea are considering a £30m bid for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, according to the Daily Star.
The Premier League champions are seeking long-term replacements for John Obi Mikel and have previously been linked with Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Matuidi, 28, is likely to be the more expensive option having developed into one of PSG’s most influential players.
In fact, only Edinson Cavani (5) has directly contributed with more goals for PSG this season than the French box-to-box midfielder (4).
