Chelsea are interested in signing Brighton striker Evan Fergsuon, reports the Standard.
The 19-year-old has established himself as one of the hottest forward prospects in England and his performances haven't gone unnoticed.
Both Manchester United and Tottenham were credited with an interest in the teenage forward last summer as an alternative to, and a replacement for, Harry Kane, respectively.
However Brighton would be reluctant to sell Ferguson for anything under £100m having recently extended his contract at the Amex until 2029.
That said, Chelses are no strangers to spending big to sign Brighton players having broken the bank to land Moises Caicedo back in August.
Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez have also made the move from the south coast to west London in the past.
Chelsea are looking into signing another striker sooner rather than later with Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen both previously linked with a high profile to Stamford Bridge.
Ferguson has scored six Premier League goals this season, though he has failed to hit the back of the net since Brighton's 3-2 win at Nottingham Forest back in November.
