Liverpool will reject world record offers for Salah from Real Madrid
Liverpool are adamant they will not sell star man Mohamed Salah this summer even if Barcelona and Real Madrid make world record bids, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Salah has been a revelation for Liverpool this season after joining from Roma in a £34m deal in the summer and his performances for club and country have piqued the interest of Spain’s biggest teams.
The Egypt international has been one of the best players in Europe this season and now Madrid and Barcelona are eyeing world record bids to prise Salah to Spain.
Madrid and Barcelona have both picked Liverpool of their best players in recent years but Jurgen Klopp’s side are determined to change that this time around as they plan to keep Salah for many years.
Liverpool put up a good fight in their attempting to keep Philippe Coutinho from joining Barcelona this season but they only managed to delay the move by six months.
Klopp’s side appear to be performing better without Coutinho, but it’s hard to imagine a similar scenario if they lost Salah.
The Liverpool No.11 is the top goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues this season (28) after netting four goals against Watford at the weekend.
