Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez will undergo his medical after Arsenal matched his £17.1m release clause, reports BBC Sport.
It has been revealed that Arsenal passed on the chance to sign Perez last month after deeming him inadequate to their needs but Arsene Wenger has returned for the Spaniard as he desperately looks to add a striker to his squad.
Everton were on the verge of landing the 27-year-old earlier this month before Arsenal moved in to hi-jack the move.
Since the start of last season no Spaniard has played a direct hand in move goals in La Liga than Perez (27).
