Everton are monitoring Demarai Gray’s progress at Leicester City with a view to making a move for the winger in January, according to The Daily Mirror.
Gray, 20, has struggled to establish himself at Leicester since joining from Birmingham City over the summer in a deal worth £3.5m.
The England Under-21 international was handed a chance to impress Claudio Ranieri in the Champions League in midweek but did himself little favours after Leicester lost 5-0 to Porto.
Everton are set to invest in wide areas in January after losing club record signing Yannick Bolasie for 12 months with a serious knee injury and Gray, as well as Manchester United outcast Memphis, are now on the radar of the Merseyside club.
Gray has made nine appearances in the Premier League this season but has started a league game since their opening game of the season.
