Manchester City outcast Joe Hart is due to undergo his West Ham medical ahead of completing a season-long loan deal with the east London outfit, reports the London Evening Standard.
The Hammers have already taken Pablo Zabaleta from Pep Guardiola’s side this summer and are now on the verge of completing their second deal of the summer after getting their way in talks for Hart.
City were only interested in selling Hart on a permanent deal at the start of the summer but the England international’s stock has fallen so much in the last two years that no team would touch his reported £20m valuation.
Newly promoted Newcastle United were interested in signing Hart on loan for the upcoming campaign but have been trumped in transfer talks by Slaven Bilic’s side, who will pay just over half of Hart’s £100,000-a-week wages.

West Ham will also have the option to make Hart’s stay at the club permanent at the end of the upcoming campaign, which seems the most likely outcome as the the Hammers look to make a statement signing in the form of the 30-year-old.
Hart spent last season on loan with Torino but endured a mixed campaign with the Serie A side after being deemed surplus to requirements 12 months ago by City boss Guardiola.
In fact, only Palermo goalkeeper Josip Posavec (7) committed more errors that led to an opposition goal than Hart in Serie A last term (5).
