Manchester City are the latest side to join the race to sign Burnley centre-back Michael Keane at the end of the season, reports the Sun.
Keane has attracted numerous Premier League admirers over the course of the campaign, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool all linked with a move for the England international.
City have since emerged as a possible destination for the 24-year-old, with Keane impressing manager Pep Guardiola on his England debut in the 1-0 loss to Germany last month, before following that up with a strong showing in the 2-0 win over Lithuania alongside City defender John Stones.
Burnley value their prized asset at £25m and it’s widely expected Keane will depart Turf Moor at the end of the season after turning down a new deal for the Clarets.
Guardiola’s side would also benefit from having another homegrown player on their books, with the Spaniard enthused of a potential centre-back partnership between Keane and Stones for club and country.
He isn’t the only defender on the club’s radar, with Bayer Leverkusen full-back Benjamin Henrichs also being courted by the Premier League outfit.
