Wantaway Tottenham star hoping for PSG move

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is hoping to push through a move to Parisian powerhouse PSG this month, reports football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Alli has lost his place in the Spurs side and head coach Jose Mourinho is keen to cash in on the England international.

Chairman Daniel Levy is against a permanent sale of Alli, but the 24-year-old has made just one league start this season, that coming in the opening weekend meeting with Everton, where he was subbed off at half time.

Negotiations are continuing between Spurs and PSG with newly appointed head coach Mauricio Pochettino eager to link up with Alli again.

Alli is also looking to leave Spurs this month and it seems likely that talks between the two sides will continue until the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Mourinho brought out the best in Alli following his appointment as Pochettino's replacement last November, yet his career has taken a downturn over the last 12 months.

Despite a lack of game time under Mourinho this term, Alli has still managed two goals and two assists in all competitions.
