Liverpool are still interested in signing Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi, according to Le Parisien, via Get French Football.
Jurgen Klopp has been interested in the France Under-21 international for several months and there was reportedly a meeting held between the club and his agent last month.
Amavi hasn’t featured competitively since suffering a horrific knee injury in November after making a promising start to life in the Premier League with Villa.
The 22-year-old finished last season as Villa’s highest rated player (7.48) having been signed last summer following a campaign where he was the highest rated player in Ligue 1 (7.74).
