Arsenal are interested in activating the £13.75m release clause in Celta Vigo winger Nolito’s contract, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Nolito, 29, has been regularly mooted with a move to Arsenal and a return to Barcelona in recent months and is made even more attractive by his staggeringly low release clause.
The Spain international has been sidelined for Celta since the beginning of December with a hamstring injury, which has halted what was a fine start to the campaign for the wideman.
In fact, no player has been awarded more WhoScored man of the match awards than Nolito in La Liga this season (7).
