Miralem Pjanic has put pen to paper on a new five-year deal running until 2023, Juventus confirmed on Tuesday night.
The Bosnia international still had three years to run on his previous deal but was heavily linked with a move away from the Old Lady this summer.
Juventus sold Gonzalo Higuain to AC Milan and there were suggestions Pjanic could be next in a bid to recoup money from their colossal investment in Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester City and Real Madrid have been credited with an interest but Juventus have now put questions about his future to bed.
Pjanic has spent the last two years at Juventus and is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in Serie A.
Juventus bolstered their midfield options with the signing of Emre Can at the start of the summer but now it is reported Sami Khedira could be on his way out.
Since August 2015, only Paulo Dybala (17) has scored more Serie A goals from outside the box than Pjanic (13).
