Cuadrado back in the sights of Juventus

Juventus have been given renewed hope in their pursuit of Juan Cuadrado after failing to break into Antonio Conte’s plans at Chelsea, reports Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, via Football Italia.

Cuadrado spent last season on loan with the Serie A champions and looked destined to remain there before Conte was named Chelsea’s next manager.

Conte is reportedly a big fan of Cuadrado and was keen on integrating him into his first-team plans but the Colombia international hasn’t made the desired effect in pre-season and could now be set to return to Italy.

The 28-year-old’s agent is reportedly in London to hold talks with Chelsea in an attempt to broker his return to Juventus, although only on loan.

Of players that made at least 15 appearances in Serie A last season only three required fewer minutes per successful dribble than Cuadrado (every 24.1 mins).
