PSV sign Bruma from RB Leipzig in €15m deal

Dutch side PSV Eindhoven have announced Bruma’s arrival from RB Leipzig in a deal worth a reported €15m.

Bruma has put pen to paper on a five-year deal running until the summer of 2024 and is the third summer signing made by Mark van Bommel’s side.

Bruma has spent the last two years at Leipzig after completing a €12.5m move from Galatasaray in 2017 but the Portugal international was a relative disappointment during that time.

The 24-year-old only managed 14 league appearances for Leipzig last season having started 16 times in his first league campaign for the club.

Bruma played a direct hand in just eight goals across 42 league appearances for the Bundesliga outfit and his arrival at PSV will raise question marks about Hirving Lozano’s future.

The Mexico international has been heavily linked with a blockbuster move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs this summer after two outstanding seasons for PSV.

Bruma is a natural replacement for Lozano and could now accelerate his departure from the Dutch giants.
