Arsenal told to pay €5m for Paris Saint-Germain defender

Arsenal must pay a minimun of €5m (£4.2m) to sign Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa this month, claims The Daily Telegraph.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the out of favour PSG defender, as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his defensive options for the remainder of the season.

Kurzawa has entered the final six months of his current PSG contract and is free to leave the club after dropping completely down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel.

With Kieran Tierney sidelined for the foreseeable future with a broken shoulder and Saed Kolasinac's injury woes, Arsenal have been forced to play teenage winger Bukayo Saka at left-back on a regular basis.

The 18-year-old has done a great job at left-back but it's unfair to demand so much from a young player out of position and Arteta is looking at Kurzawa as a January addition.

The 27-year-old has made just six league starts this season and a further five appearances from the bench. In those appearances.
