Barcelona are considering a summer move for former Everton defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to Spanish newspaper SPORT, via The Daily Mirror.
Mustafi, 24, finished the campaign as arguably Valencia’s best player, although that doesn’t necessarily speak volumes following their disastrous season.
According to local reports, Valencia are interested in signing Marc Barta and Barcelona are keen to take advantage of that and use the Spain international as a makeweight in a deal to bring Mustafi to the Camp Nou.
Only Sporting Gijon defender Luis Hernandez (140) completed more interceptions in La Liga this season than Mustafi (133).
