Everton are closing in on the signing of Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun for a reported £25m, according to the Guardian.
The Turkey international was linked with a transfer away from the Super Lig champions over the summer, with Crystal Palace and Newcastle interested.
However, a move failed to materialise and Tosun has since gone on to score 13 goals in 23 competitive appearances for Besiktas.
Palace were rumoured to be interested in the 26-year-old once more, but look to have missed out to Everton in the race to sign the forward.
Toffees boss Sam Allardyce is keen to add a new striker to the squad, with Everton netting just 24 league goals this season having failed to sufficiently replace Romelu Lukaku.
Tosun will now sign a four-and-a-half year deal with the Merseyside outfit when the transfer window officially opens on January 1st.

Allardyce has been tracking Tosun for some time now and was one of the main reasons why Palace were linked with a move for the forward after their former manager recommend the player.
