West Ham and Leicester chase Ligue 1 striker

West Ham and Leicester are interested in signing Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder, according to The Guardian.

Slaven Bilic’s side are sounding out alternatives after failing to convince AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca to sign for them and have earmarked the Toulouse frontman as a possible transfer target.

They will, however, face competition from Premier League champions Leicester and will be expected to stump up at least £8.3m for the Frenchman, who has 12 months remaining on his existing deal.

Despite Toulouse only narrowly avoiding relegation last season, Ben Yedder still managed to scored 17 league goals and registered five assists.
