Zinedine Zidane is trying to convince Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to bring Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero to the Bernebau, according to AS, via Football Espana.
Despite the fact reports have already emerged suggesting Aguero is ready to retire at City, Zidane is reportedly still hopeful of bringing the Argentina international back to the Spanish capital, where he spent five years at their city rivals Atletico.
Los Blancos have previously been linked with a move for the City No.10, but now it is the head coach, rather than their president, who is pushing for the move to happen.
Since joining City in 2011, no player has scored more goals in the Premier League (92).
