Manchester City plot move for Crystal Palace wing wizard
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will make a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha in the summer, reports the Sun.
The Spaniard is looking to strengthen in wide areas at the end of the season and has identified the Ivory Coast international in a bid to improve.
Zaha has been attracting interest from a number of Premier League teams, with Tottenham thought to be leading the race to secure his services.
The 24-year-old has impressed for the Eagles in their bid to pull away from the relegation zone with six goals and seven assist contributing to a WhoScored rating of 7.44 this season.
City are eager to bolster the squad to shake up the Premier League title race with Zaha capable of stretching opponents, offering alternative options to Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.
With Jesus Navas not expected to have his current contract renewed, City could be left short of wide options, with Zaha more than capable of replicating the Spaniard’s form.
Guardiola is expected to invest heavily in the squad in the summer, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Antoine Griezmann both linked with moves to the Etihad Stadium.
