Aston Villa have announced they have signed Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick for a reported £3m.
Elphick, 28, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Villa after losing his place in the Bournemouth team last season.
The England central defender struggled with a long-term injury that ruled him out for most of the season.
However, he arrives with Championship pedigree having featured in more minutes than any outfield player in the 2014/15 campaign, in which Bournemouth won the title (4,113).
