Barcelona are closing in on the capture of Valencia striker Paco Alcacer, reports Sky Sports.
Barcelona have been in the market for a new striker this summer, but have been frustrated up until now in their attempts to boost their attack.
However, Alcacer is close to securing a move to Camp Nou after both teams agreed a £25.6m fee for the 22-year-old.
The Spain international was left out of Valencia’s match day squad for the 1-0 defeat to Eibar, with the frontman now expected to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of his move.
He will then be unveiled by the club as a Barcelona player after the international break.
