Newcastle United are reportedly being sued by former midfielder Jonas Gutierrez, according to the Sun.
The Argentine is supposedly 'claiming disability discrimination' by the club and is after around £2m.
Gutierrez played a key role for the Magpes at the end of last season, but was released following the final game of the campaign, along with Ryan Taylor.
"The fact Newcastle did not offer me a new contract could be interpreted as though I was not well," the 32-year-old is quoted as saying.
Gutierrez made his return to competitive action earlier this month, coming on as a substitute in Deportivo's 1-1 draw with Granada.
