Paris Saint-Germain have announced they have appointed former Sevilla manager Unai Emery as Laurent Blanc’s successor.
The Ligue 1 champions sacked Blanc on Monday after his failings in the Champion League and they have now turned to Emery, who has penned a two-year deal.
“It is with great pride that I accepted the mission to lead Paris Saint-Germain,” Emery told the club’s official website.
Emery, who led Sevilla to the last three Europa League titles, won 107 of his 206 matches in charge of the Spanish outfit (51.9%).
