European giants to battle for teenage shotstopper

Manchester United and Barcelona are keeping tabs on teenage AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, suggests Corriere Dello Sport.

The 16-year-old goalkeeper has established himself as one of the finest young talents on the continent having been installed as Milan’s number one goalkeeper this season.

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed either, with United and Barcelona credited with an interest in Donnarumma.

United supposedly see him as a replacement for current goalkeeper David de Gea, who has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Barcelona, meanwhile, could move for the Italian if they decide to cash in on Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the summer.
