Aston Villa manager Remi Garde is willing to listen to offers for club captain Gabriel Agbonlahor in January, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Agbonlahor, 29, has spent his whole career at Villa whom he joined as a boy in 1994, however he was a surprise omission from the squad that lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the weekend.
And the writing would appear to be on the wall, as Garde has reportedly seen enough to realise the former England international is surplus to requirements at Villa and he will look to use his sale to raise funds for a new striker in the New Year.
Only Christian Benteke (42) has scored more league goals for Villa over the last four seasons than Agbonlahor (19).
