West Ham United are preparing to make a big money move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Mail on Sunday.
The Hammers move to the Olympic Stadium at the end of the season and hope to mark the occasion with the club record signing of the Frenchman.
Lacazette is ready to consider his future once the Ligue 1 campaign draws to a close and the Hammers have been given encouragement that a deal is a possibility with the player reportedly keen on a move to east London.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the France international, while Tottenham are supposedly keen, but West Ham feel they are in pole position to secure the services of the 24-year-old.
After a slow start to the season, Lacazette has impressed and has scored 18 league goals this season, a return bettered only by Zlatan Ibrahimovic (34).
