Kylian Mbappe is adamant he made the right choice joining Paris Saint-Germain over the summer and wants to win every trophy available with the club.
PSG beat Real Madrid to the signature of Mbappe on an initial loan deal that they have since made permanent for £166m, making him the second most expensive player of all-time.
The French giants were dumped out of the Champions League round of 16 stage by Madrid in midweek and Mbappe has been forced to defend his decision to join Unai Emery’s side.
“For me, it felt like the right moment and the right choice,” Mbappe told FourFourTwo. “PSG are a huge club and they want to win every trophy. I want to win every trophy as well, so it felt like we both had a common goal and an opportunity to develop together.”
Mbappe is yet to really hit the same influential heights he did at Monaco in the second half of last season but he has still contributed with goals and assists on a regular basis for his new club.
No teenager has scored more goals than Mbappe (10) in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
