Arsenal have stepped up their interest in Bundesliga duo Karim Bellarabi and Benedikt Howedes, according to SportBild.
The Gunners could be active in the January transfer window as they look to bolster their injury-savaged squad.
Schalke captain Howedes is reportedly interested in making the move to the Premier League, having already been linked with Arsenal in the past, although Arsene Wenger’s side could find it harder to lure Bellarabi away from Bayer Leverkusen.
No Leverkusen player is averaging more dribbles per game than Bellarabi in the Bundesliga this season (2.8 per game).
