Madrid star feeling frustrated

Germany World Cup winner Toni Kroos is the latest Real Madrid star to feel frustrated by the progress made by the club under new manager Rafa Benitez, reports AS.

Kroos, 25, was absent from Madrid’s Christmas dinner on Wednesday evening because of flu and has missed three of their last four competitive matches after mysteriously falling out favour under Benitez.

The German midfielder was an ever-present in the team last season under Carlo Ancelotti, but has now joined the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and James Rodriguez in feeling frustrated by Benitez’s methods.

Kroos has already missed as many league games this season than he was absent for across the duration of last season in La Liga (2), and he has dropped from being the second most used player in the squad to the fourth.
