West Ham agree Ayew fee

West Ham United have a agreed a fee of £20m for Swansea City star Andre Ayew, reports Sky Sports.

The Hammers are in the market for a new striker this summer but have been left frustrated in their efforts to bolster their attack.

However, they appear to have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Ayew, with reports suggesting they have agreed a fee with the Swans for the Ghana star.

Swansea are reluctant to sell Ayew, who scored more league goals (12) than any other teammate last season, after he enjoyed a fine debut campaign in south Wales.

However, the same report suggests they would use the funds raised from Ayew’s sale to pursue Borja Baston, who netted 18 league goals for Eibar on loan from Atletico Madrid last term.

Swansea on Friday confirmed the capture of Fernando Llorente from Sevilla to ease the departures of Alberto Paloschi and Bafetimbi Gomis.
