Arsenal are on the brink of signing Thomas Lemar from Monaco for £45m, according to the Sun.
The France international has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners for months now, while Tottenham have courted the young attacker.
However, Arsenal now appear to have won the race to sign the 21-year-old having finally made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Lemar.
Monaco were thought to be demanding £80m for Lemar in a bid to deter potential suitors as they looked to keep one of their prized assets.
The Ligue 1 champions have already sold Valere Germain, Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko, while Real Madrid are believed to be closing in on Kylian Mbappe for a world-record €180m.

They are reluctant to lose Lemar this summer as they feel his value could double next summer, but the youngster is thought to be keen on a move to Arsenal, with a switch to the Emirates right about now 50/50.
If the Gunners land the attacker, he would be their third signing this window following the arrivals of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
