Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has decided he wants to try and bring the best out of Paul Pogba next season, reports Yahoo.
Pogba has endured a difficult 2018 under the Portuguese and has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit for the second time in his career.
The France international has dropped down the pecking order at United in recent matches but enjoyed a return to form during the international break.
Pogba ended a run of 21 matches for club and country without scoring after finding the back of the net in France’s 3-1 win over Russia on Tuesday.
Reports have circulated in recent weeks suggesting Mourinho could sell the United No.6 at the end of the season to fund a summer spending spree.
However, Mourinho has now decided against that and wants to help the 25-year-old reach his full potential next season.
Despite a poor run of form, only Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Leroy Sane (11) have provided more assists than Pogba (9) in the Premier League this season.
