Arsenal target issues come and get me plea

Monaco winger Thomas Lemar says he is open to all offers at the end of the season after conceding his disappointment at failing to secure a move away last summer.

Liverpool and Arsenal were both heavily linked with a move for the France international last summer and the latter side even bid £90m for his services.

Monaco blocked Lemar from leaving but the 22-year-old is determined to secure a big money move away from the Ligue 1 outfit this time around.

“Regrets? Maybe. I was a little disappointed,” he told Telefoot when asked about his thoughts on being blocked from leaving Monaco last summer.

“Once it’s over, it’s over, so do not think about it. I will keep working hard so these clubs will eventually come back in the next transfer window. I am open to all offers. I am a football player, I like football. I do not close any door.”

Barcelona were also briefly mooted with a move for the Monaco ace but appear to have focused their attention on signing his international team-mate Antoine Griezmann.

Liverpool opted against signing a replacement for Philippe Coutinho in January but Lemar was mooted as a potential signing at the time.

Moreover, Arsenal may rekindle their interest in Lemar at the end of the season after failing to secure a like-for-like replacement for Alexis Sanchez at the start of the year.

Since the start of last season, only Florian Thauvin (18) has registered more assists in Lemar (17) in Ligue 1.
