New Manchester United signing requests crunch talks with Mourinho
Victor Lindelof wants assurances about his Manchester United future from manager Jose Mourinho, reports The Sun.
United signed Lindelof from Benfica in a deal worth more than £30m in the summer but the Sweden international has failed to make any impact at the club.
The 23-year-old has not made a Premier League appearance since New Year’s Day and only featured three FA Cup ties since then.
Lindelof is concerned his United future is heading to a crossroads after just one season at the club and wants to discuss Mourinho’s plans before the end of the season.
The Sweden international may even be forced to look elsewhere for playing time next season now that Tottenham ace Toby Alderweireld is a summer target for United.
Lindelof has made 20 appearances in all competitions for United this season and the Red Devils have kept clean sheets in each of his last five appearances.
