Manchester United ready to match Dortmund’s valuation of star man

According to The Mirror , Manchester United will make a mega money move for Jadon Sancho this summer.

The teenager has enjoyed a sensational season for Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund, which has seen his price tag rocket since the German outfit signed Sancho from United’s cross-city rivals in 2017.

The 18-year-old, now a full England international, left Manchester City for just £8m but is now believed to be valued at close to ten times that sum, with The Red Devils ready to part with £70m to secure the winger’s services.

That fee would see City receive over £10m from the deal due to a 15 per cent sell on clause in the youngster’s contract, but that wouldn’t deter United from making a move in the slightest.

The club have reportedly identified the right wing as a key area from investment when the transfer window reopens and Sancho has been in devastating form from that flank for much of the season.

The trickster has scored seven goals and registered nine assists in the Bundesliga alone this season, with only Kylian Mbappe earning a greater WhoScored.com rating of players aged 21 and under in Europe’s top five leagues.
