Bayern striker should ignore Real Madrid talk, says manager
Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has urged striker Robert Lewandowksi to ignore talk of a Real Madrid move and instead focus on the German side.
The Poland international has been routinely linked with a switch to the Spanish giants and reports suggest he could be on his way to the Bernabeu this summer.
Lewandowski has again been in superb form for Bayern this season, scoring more goals (20) than any other Bundesliga player.
Heynckes, though, has urged Bayern’s star forward to give his full attention to helping his current side end the season strongly.
“Lewandowski must concentrate on Bayern,” he is quoted by Mundo Deportivo via TEAMtalk.
“If we want to go far in the Champions League, it has to work in the offensive sector and it’s better not to be arguing about that (about a transfer).
“When you play at Bayern, you must be attentive to the maximum. I do not know if they are speculations or dreams, I do not have information about. But if you play at Bayern you cannot be distracted. There is no other club like Bayern.”
