PSG manager annoyed at Rabiot speculation

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has revealed he is annoyed there is talk of one of his players leaving the club ahead of their Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk.

Adrien Rabiot, 20, is reportedly looking to force a loan move through when the January transfer window opens with Arsenal among the clubs repeatedly linked with the defensive midfielder.

However, the news hasn’t pleased his manager, Blanc, who has told the France Under-21 international to respect the five-year deal he signed with PSG last October.

“It annoys me,” Blanc is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. “I don’t want to say anymore and I’m going to concentrate on tomorrow’s match.

Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going at the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it.

“Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”

Of players aged under 21 to have started at least five games in Europe’s top five leagues this season, only one has a better pass success rate than Rabiot (91%).
