Tottenham are considering a move for out of favour Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, reports the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan, first at Porto and then Fiorentina, and are willing to cash in on the Spaniard.
Tello has supposedly turned down a move to Liverpool already this summer, while a permanent switch to Serie A side Fiorentina looks to have fallen through.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is familiar with Tello’s qualities having come through the ranks at Espanyol while the Argentine was at the helm of the La Liga side.
Swansea and Southampton are also believed to be interested in the winger, but Spurs remain in pole position to sign Tello should they firm up their rumoured interest.
Should that be the case, he would become the club’s third summer signing, following Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen, who joined from Southampton and AZ Alkmaar respectively.
