Manchester City to make loan move for Sanchez in January

 

Manchester City missed out on signing Alexis Sanchez on deadline day but will return for the Arsenal forward in January, claims The Daily Mirror.

 

Pep Guardiola’s side had a £60m bid for Sanchez accepted on Thursday but the deal collapsed after Arsenal failed to sign a replacement in time.

 

Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his existing Arsenal deal and will now almost certainly leave the Gunners for nothing next summer.

 

However, City do not want to wait until the end of next season to sign the Chile international and will make an audacious play to sign Sanchez on loan for the remainder of the season before taking him on permanently.
