Ronaldo fuels Madrid exit talk

Cristiano Ronaldo has fuelled talk of an immediate exit from Real Madrid after his conversation with Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc was disclosed.

The former Manchester United winger was pictured whispering in the ear of Blanc after Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over the Ligue 1 champions on Tuesday night.

And, according to French newspaper, L’Equipe, Ronaldo revealed he would like to play for the PSG manager.

“Your team plays really well. I’d like to work with you,” Ronaldo reportedly told Blanc.

The Parisien outfit’s interest in Ronaldo is one of the worst kept secrets in football and they will reportedly try and sign the Portugal international at the end of the season.

Ronaldo fuels Madrid exit talk

Despite scoring eight goals in 10 league matches this season, Ronaldo’s performances have been below what we have become accustomed to seeing from the Madrid No.7.

Ronaldo has particularly been caught a frustrated figure with the added defensive responsibilities Rafa Benitez has forced upon him, which isn’t something the 30-year-old is used to doing, accentuated by his statistically calculated weakness of ‘defensive contribution’.
