Swansea have confirmed the arrival of highly rated Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Championship outfit have fended off competition from a number of their rivals to sign one of England's most exciting young strikers.
Brewster was wanted by Premier League clubs in the summer but Liverpool manager Jugren Klopp wanted the 19-year-old to be part of his first-team plans.
Klopp even abandoned the club's pursuit of a back-up to Roberto Firmino to place his faith in Brewster for the current season.
However, the teenager has struggled to make any impact at Anfield this season and has seen other young players move ahead of him in the pecking order.
Brewster has only made three appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season and often picked up injuries at key stages when he would likely have got game time.
Liverpool now hope Brewster will kickstart his career at Swansea where he will reunite with Steve Cooper.
The 40-year-old was in charge of the England Under-17 side that won the World Cup in 2017 and Brewster finished as the top scorer in the competition (8 goals).
Swansea currently occupy the final play-off position in the Championship but have struggled for goals this season (32 goals in 26 games), highlighted by the fact only five teams have scored fewer times.
