Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists the club will never try to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane because of the rivalry between the two clubs.
Kane, 22, has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane since exploding onto the scene almost 12 months ago.
However, despite praising the striker, Wenger has ruled Arsenal out of the running for the England international.
“He has great qualities and he will have a great career, but once a player is at Spurs you don’t even consider him anymore,” Wenger is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
The Tottenham striker has been slow in warming to the start of the new campaign, but now has five goals in his last three matches heading into the north London derby on Sunday.
