Pep Guardiola is set to dip into the La Liga market to bolster his squad this summer, reports the Sunday Mirror.
The Spaniard has already brought Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito to the Etihad Stadium this summer, with the latter arriving from Celta Vigo.
However, the new Manchester City boss has not stopped with just the pair, with Luis Suarez and Toni Kroos both high on his wishlist this summer.
Suarez scored more goals (40) than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues last season, with Guardiola keen on bringing the Uruguay international back to the Premier League.
Kroos, meanwhile, has excelled for Germany at Euro 2016, averaging more passes (109.6) than any other player at the competition.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Barcelona and Real Madrid would sanction the sales of Suarez and Kroos, respectively.
The Germany international played under Guardiola for a year at Bayern Munich before moving to Real Madrid two years ago and is supposedly happy in Spain.
He has a £63m release clause in his contract, which City could trigger should they look to pursue their reported interest in the midfielder.
On Suarez, the player is represented by Pep Guardiola’s brother Pere Guardiola, but would cost around £85m to bring him back to England.
