Manchester United ponder summer move for Everton ace

Manchester United have added Everton club record signing Richarlison to their growing list of summer transfer targets, claims The Daily Telegraph.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning major reconstruction to his United squad at the end of the season after a run of seven defeats in their last nine matches.

Solskjaer wants to strengthen every area of his United squad and is now interested in Everton’s versatile forward Richarlison.

The Brazil international, who scored against United last weekend, only joined Everton from Watford last summer.

Everton paid a club-record £50m to sign Richarlison from their Premier League rivals and have no desire to sell the 21-year-old after just one season.

Richarlison has scored 18 goals in 71 Premier League appearances over the last two campaigns and his versatility appeals to Solskjaer.

United have failed to nail down a regular occupant on the right hand side of their attack for several years now and Richarlison showed against United he can play there.

The Brazil international can also lead the line and play on the left wing, which are also areas Solskjaer will attempt to address in the summer.
