Thibaut Courtois says he is still in talks with Chelsea about extending his stay but admits his agent will listen to offers from Real Madrid.
Chelsea are currently locked in contract talks with Courtois in a bid to resolve his long-term future before the end of the season.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in the past and the La Liga giants are expected to formalise their interest if Courtois does not sign a new deal.
Courtois has already revealed he will return to Spain in the future to be closer to his children and the 25-year-old has conceded his agent will listen if Madrid come calling.
“I have children in Spain, in Madrid, and that’s not easy. I have one year left (here) and I’m happy and talking to Chelsea,” The Daily Mail quote Courtois as saying after Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona.
“They have bet on me from the first moment and that is not forgotten. I do not think Florentino Perez calls me, he will call my agent and he will listen to him.”
Courtois is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and that would fit in with Madrid’s philosophy of buying ready-made superstars.
Only Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea (15), who is also a target for Madrid, has kept more clean sheets than Courtois (13) in the Premier League this season.
