My Spurs future is linked with Pochettino admits Lloris
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has admitted his future at the club is linked with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The France number moved to north London from Lyon in 2012 and has established himself as a key man for the club during his time in England.
The Spurs captain considered leaving in 2014, but was convinced to pen a long-term deal in December and admits he is not very happy at Tottenham, with he believing manager Pochettino to be one of the best coaches in the world.
"My future lies with Mauricio. It's a certainty,” Lloris is quoted as saying by French newspaper Le Figaro via the London Evening Standard.
"It matters a lot to me. Our relationship goes beyond football. One day he will be the best coach in the world.
"For me, he already is. His presence and our relationship are what matter the most to me in my eyes.
"I feel very good here, after all in football, everything is still fragile and can change very quickly."
Lloris, 30, has played a key role in Spurs’ rise to 2nd in the table, with no team conceding fewer goals than the north London side (21) in the Premier League this season.
