Andrea Barzagli has reached an agreement to extend his contract until 2018, according to Gazzetta dello Sport .
The Italy international’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season although an extension has been expected following five years of solid service at Juventus.
Barzagli, 34, has reportedly agreed to extend his contract by a further two years with an announcement expected imminently.
Despite his age, Barzagli has featured in 21 league games this season and with Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini current injury woes, he is expected to feature even more over the coming weeks.
