Tottenham Transfer News: Richarlison rejects summer Saudi move

Tottenham striker Richarlison has moved to quash talk of a potential summer move to Saudi Arabia following reports the Brazilian was expected to leave Spurs this month.

The 27-year-old moved to Spurs from Everton for a club-record fee £60m in 2022 but has struggled for consistency for the north London side.

Richarlison has scored just 12 league goals in his two seasons at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with injuries impacting his form and playing time.

With Spurs on the lookout for a new striker this month, speculation suggested that Richarlison was set for a big money move to Saudi Arabia, with one unnamed side tabling a bid.

However, the forward is keen to remain in England as he looks to force his way back into the Brazil squad having sat out the 2024 Copa America.

"There has been an offer but my dream of playing for the Brazilian Selecao and in the Premier League speaks louder," Richarlison told ESPN Brazil.

Spurs are expected to sign a new forward before the close of the transfer window, with Dominic Solanke and Ivan Toney high on their wishlist.
